In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout
the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

| Community Service | Organizes participation in projects such as Roadside Cleanup, Fall Cleanup at Women's Resource Center, NMC Barbeque, parking for the Women's Ski Tour and Vasa Race, Alzheimer's Memory Walk, and other projects to help build a better community. Committee also decides small grant requests from area non-profit cultural and human service agencies. | |

| Human & Spiritual Values | Promotes and organizes activities that support the Kiwanis objects of giving primacy to the human and spiritual rather than the material values of life, and of encouraging living the Golden Rule in all human relationships. Projects include publishing and distributing area church directory, coordinating meeting invocations and thoughts of the day, annual clergy day, contributions and work for charitable organizations such as Salvation Army, House of Hope, Habitat for Humanity and Forgotten Man M | |

| Membership Growth & Education | Encourages Kiwanis members to invite rsponsible members of our community to join the club. We ensure that new members have the proper introduction and induction into the club. The committee also helps new members fit into the club's committee structure. Our goal is to see a steady flow of new members all the time. | |
| Public Relations | Committee is responsible for monthly member bulletin and helping to ensure that the public receives, through the media and other means, information about club achievements and Kiwanis International. | |
| Sponsored Youth | Encourages the formation of and supports the efforts of K-Kids Clubs in elementary schools, Builders Clubs in junior high, Key Clubs in high schools and Circle K Clubs in colleges. The committee includes Kiwanis Club advisors to all of the sponsored programs. | |
| Young Children Priority One | Committee implements projects to children, ages prenatatel through five. Projects address materal and child health, childcare, early development, nuitrition, parenting education and support, advocacy, pediatric trauma, or safety. Popular programs include encouraging literacy, assisting childcare, and Head Start programs, distributing the home-safety checklist, educating the public about Shaken Baby Syndrome, and building of repairing playgrounds. | |
| Youth Services | Committee responsible for projects that help school aged children, 6 - 18. Projects address academics, advocacy, career exploration, character education, citizensip, health, leadership development, literacy, mentoring, drug prevention, and sports/recreation. Popular programs include; Jr. High Track Meet, Kiwanis Ski School, Youth Friends, Hugh O'Brien Leadership scholarship, Jr. High Mock Interview/Career Days, and Student of the Month recognition. | |
